Day 3, Hollandise Sauce


I learned to make a really simple and delicious sauce to use on vegetables, meat, or what I used it for, Eggs Benedict. I used to hate eggs until a couple months ago when I had a McDonald's breakfast burrito and I have loved eating all kinds of egg dishes ever since. Here is the recipe for Hollandise Sauce...
1 stick of butter
2 tablespoons, Lemon Juice
3 large egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper

In a blender, mix eggs, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
In a saucepan, bring butter to a boil
pour butter into mixture and mix for a few seconds.
serve immediately.

Everyone liked it and wants me to make it again except Caden, my 8 year old brother.
